Juedes leads Marquette with career-high 21 points

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Lesley Juedes had a career-high 21 points and Marquette used a 14-0 second-half run to upset DePaul 63-57 on Sunday.

DePaul (No. 18 ESPN/USA Today, No. 19 AP) led 47-41 on Jenni Dant's 3-pointer with 9:15 left, but Juedes followed with a 3 to start the Golden Eagles' 14-0 run. Khara Smith put an end to Marquette's spree with a free throw four minutes later.

Carolyn Kieger added 11 points for the Golden Eagles (10-4, 1-0), who trailed 35-30 at halftime.

Allie Quigley led DePaul (11-3, 0-1) with 17 points, and Khara had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

DePaul pulled to 55-53 behind Quigley's five straight points with 3:25 left. Marquette missed a field-goal attempt but made 8-of-9 free throws to seal the win.
