IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Jaime Printy scored 20 points to lead No. 18 Iowa to a 68-62 win over Kansas State on Sunday.
Taelor Karr's 3-pointer with 4:52 remaining in the first half launched Kansas State (6-1) on a 16-point scoring drive. The Wildcats scored 10 unanswered with contributions from Brown, Chambers, Karr and Jalana Child and Chambers.
Iowa's Kach Alexander ended the streak by hitting two free throws, and the Hawkeyes managed to stay within 29-25 at intermission. They then reclaimed the lead when Alexander scored in the paint, Printy connected and Morgan Johnson scored about 6 minutes into the second half.
The Hawkeyes (8-1) held on the rest of the way.
Brittany Chambers scored 20 points and junior Branshea Brown added 18 to lead Kansas State. Johnson finished with 13 points and Alexander added 12 for Iowa.
