Ever wonder what a former player might be thinking when she's watching her old team play on TV?
Monday, Twitter might will help provide the answer.
During Big Monday games on ESPN2 this season, a former player from each team will square off on Twitter throughout the contest, letting the other know just what she thinks about the matchup.
On Monday, former Southern California standout and WNBA legend Tina Thompson (@IamTinaThompson) will banter back and forth on Twitter with Tulsa Shock guard Candice Wiggins (@candicewiggins), who graduated from Stanford as the all-time leading scorer in Stanford and Pac-12 women's basketball history. They'll begin their espnW Big Monday Smack Talk at the opening tip, and will continue tweeting back and forth until the final whistle.
The fourth-ranked Cardinal (17-1) host the Women of Troy (13-6) at 9 p.m. ET Monday. The game will be called by Rebecca Lobo, Hall of Famer Bill Walton and Dave Pasch. No. 6 Maryland hosts unbeaten and second-ranked Notre Dame at 7 p.m. ET. Both games can be seen on ESPN2 and WatchESPN.
