Nearly half of the teams in the top 25 are not playing until January, so there are no major changes. However, there has been some action since the first rankings release.

No. 2 Westlake (GA) won a key matchup against in-state McEachern on Dec. 12 thanks to South Carolina signee Raven Johnson, the second-ranked prospect in the espnW 100. While Johnson had a 19-point, 10-assist double-double in a 68-64 win, Virginia Tech signee and No. 61-ranked prospect Brianna Turnage had 13 points and six rebounds.

Ninth-ranked DeSoto (TX) lost a road game to Classen SAS (OK) 50-46 on Dec. 11. Classen's Darianna Littlepage-Buggs, the 35th-ranked prospect in the Class of 2022, outdueled DeSoto junior Tionna Herron, the No. 57 junior in the country, by scoring 23 points and bringing down 19 rebounds in her season debut.

No. 20 Norman (OK) rolled through the Joe Lawson Memorial Invitational from Dec. 10-12 behind the play of Texas Tech signee Chante Embry (No. 67 in the Class of 2021) and juniors Mikayla Parks and Myka Perry, who are committed to Kansas State and Florida, respectively. No. 66 senior Kelbie Washington, an Oklahoma commit, was named tournament MVP.
