No. 1 Stanford women's basketball announced schedule updates on Monday, including its Pac-12 showdown against No. 11 Oregon on Friday. That game will tip off at 11:30 a.m. PT and be played in Santa Cruz, California, at Kaiser Permanente Arena.
That is the home of the Santa Cruz Warriors, the Golden State Warriors' G League affiliate.
Stanford has had to relocate its practices and games since early December, following Santa Clara County's directive banning indoor sports because of COVID-19. The Cardinal have played games in other California cities, in Las Vegas and in Arizona since then, and they have not returned to campus.
Stanford's scheduled game on Sunday against Oregon State remains postponed because the Beavers' program is on pause for COVID-19 protocol.
Stanford also announced it will play Washington State twice in Pullman, Washington, in the last week of January. The Cardinal's scheduled "home" game against the Cougars was to be played in Las Vegas in December, but the Cougars were then on a pause. Now, Stanford will play at Washington State on Jan. 27 and 29 then at Washington on Jan. 31.
The Cardinal have not yet announced where their scheduled home games against UCLA and USC on Jan. 22 and 24 will be played.
