CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- Duane Forde scored on a one-yard run with 14 seconds remaining as the Calgary Stampeders rallied for their fifth win in six games, 29-26 over the Toronto Argonauts.

Forde's plunge capped a four-play, 73-yard drive and came only 53 seconds after Jimmy Kemp put Toronto in front with a 56-yard touchdown pass to Derrell Mitchell. It was Forde's second carry of the game and helped the Stampeders (8-3) improve to 4-0 against the Eastern Conference.

Calgary raced to a 19-4 lead in the second quarter, but the Argonauts (5-6) closed within five points at halftime on a 35-yard field goal by Dan Giancola and a 23-yard TD toss from Kemp to Mitchell.

Giancola accounted for all the scoring in the third quarter, kicking field goals of 50 and 28 yards, to give Toronto its first lead at 20-19.

Mark McLoughlin's fifth field goal, a 17-yarder just over six minutes into the final period, put the Stamps back in front, 22-20.

Kemp completed 21-of-38 passes for 304 yards with two TDs and an interception. Dave Dickenson and Mike McCoy split time at quarterback for Calgary. Dickenson was 11-of-19 for 220 yards and a touchdown, while McCoy was 10-of-16 for 137 yards.
