EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- Deland McCullough rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers posted a 27-19 win over the Edmonton Eskimos in a battle of two of the league's worst teams Sunday. Kerwin Bell completed 17 of 27 passes for 205 yards and a score and rushed for another TD for Winnipeg (4-9), which matched Edmonton for the second-worst record in the league. Saskatchewan is 3-10. McCullough gave the Blue Bombers a 24-13 cushion with a 27-yard TD run 6:47 into the fourth quarter. Nealon Greene countered with a 17-yard TD pass to Terry Vaughn, but the two-point conversion failed. Troy Westwood nailed a 42-yard field goal with 34 seconds left to cap the scoring. Greene was 21-of-32 for 273 yards a touchdown and two interceptions. He also rushed 13 times for 141 yards as Edmonton totaled 419 yards of offense to 368 for the Bombers. The Eskimos led 11-7 after Troy Mills' 7-yard scoring run 2:49 into the second quarter. But Bell's 1-yard keeper more than seven minutes later gave Winnipeg the lead for good at 14-11. Westwood kicked a pair of field goals for the Bombers.
Edmonton's Sean Fleming had a field goal and three singles.
