Ham, Pringle lead Montreal romp

MONTREAL (Ticker) -- Tracy Ham threw for 304 yards and three touchdowns and Michael Pringle rushed for three first-half scores as the Montreal Alouettes routed the Saskatchewan Roughriders 43-7 Monday afternoon.

Ham completed 13-of-21 passes with no interceptions as Montreal improved to 10-4 and increased its lead in the East Division to two games over second-place Hamilton. He hit Alfonzo Browning for two scoring strikes just 2:20 apart in the second quarter, keying Montreal's 35-point first half.

Pringle had 74 yards on 19 carries and plunged into the end zone for a pair of one-yard TDs in the opening quarter as the Alouettes raced to a 14-0 lead. He added a five-yard touchdown run with 33 seconds left before halftime as Montreal built a 35-7 cushion.

Ham fired a 32-yard TD pass to Thomas Haskins early in the third quarter and the Alouettes cruised, amassing 424 yards of total offense to the Roughriders' 232. Haskins and Browning each made three catches for 114 and 70 yards, respectively.

Sarkisian had three interceptions and Saskatchewan quarterbacks were picked off seven times overall. The Roughriders fell to a league-worst 3-11.
