CLIFTON, N.J. -- Tennessee punter Craig Hentrich shot a 3-over-par 75 on Saturday to win the NFL Golf Classic by three strokes over Carolina tight end Brian Kinchen.

Hentrich, who finished third last year, had just one birdie -- on the par-4 14th -- but shot a par-36 on the back nine and didn't three-putt a hole in overcoming Kinchen and Tennessee kicker Al Del Greco, the five-time champion who shot a 79 to finish third.

"The one thing Al and I both wanted to do was see it stay with the team," said Hentrich, who will donate his $30,000 prize and the use of a Cadillac for a year to the booster club of his high school in Alton, Ill. "Right now I'm kind of mentally exhausted. I'm sure I'll enjoy it a lot more tonight when I get home."

Del Greco said he was happy for his teammate.

"He was the best golfer today and deserved to win it," said Del Greco, who was playing even par when his drive on the fifth hole struck a spectator. "It's the first time anything like that happened to me, and I just wasn't the same after that."

Del Greco played the back nine in 5-over 41, while Hetheringon had a 44 after shooting a 2-over 38 on the front nine.

Kinchen finished second for the fourth time in six appearances.
