Cat Thief enabled Pat Day to celebrate his 11th Breeders' Cup win.

What was supposed to be a victory march for Bob Baffert turned into yet another coronation for D. Wayne Lukas, capped off by Cat Thief's unlikely victory Saturday in the Classic. Lukas saddled two more winners at Gulfstream Park, starting with Cash Run in the Juvenile Fillies, bringing his record total to 15 over 16 years of Breeders' Cup outings. Cash Run's upset of Chilukki was just the start to a disappointing day for Baffert, who was shut out despite sending out three favorites in six races.
