ROCHESTER, New York (Ticker) -- Mika Noronen stopped 18 shots as the Rochester Americans blanked the Lowell Lock Monsters, 2-0, to extend their unbeaten streak to seven games (6-0-1). It was the sixth shutout of the season for Noronen, who improved to 32-12-4. Francois Methot snapped a scoreless tie 8:55 into the second period and Jason Cipolla added an insurance tally early in the third for Rochester, which is 19-2-2 in its last 23 games. Travis Scott made 25 saves for Lowell, which dropped its third straight.
