ALBANY, New York (Ticker) -- Josh Holden scored midway through the third period to snap a tie and lift the Syracuse Cruch to a 4-3 victory over the Albany River Rats. Holden was set up by Steve Kariya, who recorded a goal and two assists to increase his total to 11 points in four games against Albany. Jarkko Ruutu collected a goal and an assist for Syracuse, which improved to 6-2-1 against the River Rats. Steve Brule notched a goal and an assist for Albany, which was outshot, 24-4, in the second period.
