QUEBEC (Ticker) -- Mathieu Garon made 38 saves and Pierre Sevigny and Patrice Tardif scored first-period goals to lead the Quebec Citadelles to a 2-1 victory over the St. John's Maple Leafs. Garon stopped 16 shots in the first period and carried a shutout into the third for Quebec, which extended its unbeaten streak to five games (4-0-1). Sevigny, who had the game-winner on Friday night at Saint John, opened the scoring at 6:28 and Tardif doubled the lead a little over four minutes later. Bobby House scored 5:58 into the final period for St. John's, which is 1-5-1 in its last seven road games.
