PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island (Ticker) -- Daniel Briere scored two goals, including the game-winner with 2:14 remaining, as the Springfield Falcons handed the Providence Bruins their sixth straight loss, 4-3. Briere, who collected four assists in Friday's victory over Worcester, gave Springfield a 3-2 lead 2:37 into the final session. Jeremy Brown, who set up Providence's second goal, pulled his club into a 3-3 tie with 7:37 remaining. Robert Esche stopped 37 shots for the Falcons, who posted just their 11th road win (11-23-3). Aaron Downey had a goal and an assist for the Bruins, who have been outscored, 27-11, during their losing streak.
