LEXINGTON, Kentucky (Ticker) -- Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 21 shots and Matt Bradley snapped a tie with 1:52 left in the second period to lift the Kentucky Thoroughblades to a 2-1 victory over the Hershey Bears. Kiprusoff stopped all 15 shots he faced over the final two periods to improve to 22-19-4. Mark Smith scored the tying goal 2:02 into the middle session and Bradley netted his third game-winner of the season for Kentucky, which improved to 5-2-1 against Hershey. Dan Hinote opened the scoring in the first period for the Bears, who lost their fourth straight game.
