QUEBEC (Ticker) -- Mathieu Garon made 29 saves and Patrice Tardif had a goal and an assist as the Quebec Citadelles shutout the St. John's Maple Leafs, 3-0. Garon stopped 12 shots in the third period to complete his second shutout of the season. Tardif, who picked up an assist on Aaron Asham's first-period goal, tallied 4:38 into the third session to finish the scoring for Quebec. Stephane Robidas and Francois Groleau each had a pair of assists for the Citadelles, who won for the fifth time in six games. Jimmy Waite turned aside 30 shots for St. John's, which fell to 1-6-1 in its last eight road games.
