ROCHESTER, New York (Ticker) -- Kirk Daubenspeck stopped 32 shots and Francois Methot scored the game-winner in the second period as the surging Rochester Americans edged the Hartford Wolf Pack, 3-2. Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre and Denis Hamel had the other goals for the Amerks, who are unbeaten in nine of their last 10 games (8-1-1). Rochester also extended its home unbeaten streak to six games (5-0-1). Chris Kenady and Ken Gernander tallied for the Wolf Pack, who got 25 saves from Milan Hnilicka but lost for the second time in its last 10 contests.
