KALAMAZOO, Michigan (Ticker) -- Marty Turco stopped 21 shots to post his fourth consecutive shutout as the Michigan K-Wings blanked the Detroit Vipers, 2-0. Turco, who leads the league with six shutouts overall, has turned aside 117 shots during his streak. Kory Karlander broke a scoreless tie 8:51 into the second period and Ryan Christie padded the lead with 17 seconds left in the session for Michigan, which improved to 7-1-1 against Detroit this season. Kevin Hodson made 33 saves for the Vipers, who had their winless skid extended to five games (0-4-1).
