ROSEMONT, Illinois (Ticker) -- Wendell Young stopped 20 shots and Steve Larouche had a goal and two assists as the Chicago Wolves blanked the Detroit Vipers, 4-0. Young made half of his saves in the third period, securing his sixth shutout of the season. Larouche, who leads the team with 82 points, scored an unassisted goal with 5:48 left in the first period to give Chicago a 2-0 lead. Steve Maltais added his league-leading 39th goal and supplied an assist for the Wolves, who have won 20 of their last 22 games. Kevin Hodson turned aside 33 shots for Detroit, which has lost six straight.
