KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Ticker) -- Ryan Bach stopped 31 shots as the Kansas City Blades edged the Utah Grizzlies, 3-2. Bach made 10 saves in the third period to help Kansas City stop a three-game losing streak. David Ling and Sean Haggerty scored in the third period for the Blades, who improved to 6-3 against Utah this season. John Purves, who entered the contest with six goals in seven meetings with Kansas City, tied it at 1-1 with 1:25 left in the first period for the Grizzlies. Rick Tabaracci surrendered all three goals and fell to 18-14-7.
