Dallas Mavericks forward Michael Finley was cleared to play after taking a strength test on Monday, but he remains on the injured list and will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's home game against the Clippers.

The Mavericks are 12-1 without Finley, who has been rehabilitating a left hamstring injury.

Finley returned to practice Friday. He ran at full speed and leaped with full vertical ability, and emerged only with his sore left hamstring heavily iced as a precaution.

Monday's stress test was his last hurdle in a comeback bid.
