Bielik posts another quick, straight sets victory

STANFORD, Calif. -- Top-seeded Bea Bielik of Wake Forest advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA women's tennis tournament Thursday, routing North Carolina's Kate Pinchbeck 6-1, 6-0.

Bielik, a junior from Valley Stream, N.Y., will face Stanford's Erin Burdette, a 6-4, 5-7, 6-3 winner over Arizona State's Adria Engel.

In the other quarterfinals, third-seeded Jessica Lehnhoff of Florida beat seventh-seeded Jewel Peterson of Southern California 2-6, 6-4, 7-5, and Stanford's Gabriela Lastra defeated Vilmarie Castellvi of Tennessee 6-2, 7-5.
