Does Duke Own Terps?

Carlos Boozer
Carlos Boozer has never lost in Cole Field House.
Duke understands the ACC title goes through Cole Field House, again. A second straight national title could also hing on beating the Terps in March, again. But the Blue Devils have been here and done all that, writes ESPN.com's Gregg Doyel. Duke may respect Maryland, but this rivalry is decidedly tilted one way: Duke's way.

    Bilas Breakdown
Maryland needs to find a way to get easy baskets, and that means getting out in transition and running so it doesn't have to grind it out in the half court against Duke's defense. Maryland also needs to find a way to get Juan Dixon more shots. In the first game, Dahntay Jones did an outstanding job defensively against Dixon, limiting him to just 10 points on 2-of-9 shooting.

Now, when they do get into the half court, Maryland has done a great job all year long executing their half court offense. The Terps have to be really strong with the ball against Duke and really pound the glass. Chris Wilcox and Lonny Baxter really have to go to the boards. Duke is not a great rebounding team, so that's where the Terps have to exert themselves if they want to win Sunday's game.
