We'll be tracking the top six players on our weekly Heisman Poll each Saturday. Here is how those six players performed on Saturday. The ESPN.com Heisman Poll is voted on by Lee Corso, Todd Christensen, Bill Curry, Rod Gilmore, Mike Gottfried, Kirk Herbstreit, Mel Kiper, Jr., John Mackovic and Gene Wojciechowski.

CHRIS WEINKE -- FLORIDA STATE

Weinke Breaking it down: May have gained votes without playing a down this week. Had OSU upset the Sooners, he could have started writing his speech and making space in his trophy case. Remains the front-runner heading into New York City. Saturday's Performance: Did not play. Season Statistics Passing: 266 of 431, 4,167 yards; 33 TDs, 11 INTs

JOSH HEUPEL -- OKLAHOMA

Heupel Breaking it down: The numbers don't lie. The worst stats since he arrived in Norman weren't what Heupel needed so late in the season. Sure, the Sooners survived. But Heupel didn't live up to his "Heisman Heup" in the win. Every race needs a runner-up, and it looks like Josh will play that role in New York City. Saturday's Performance: Beat Oklahoma State, 12-7 Saturday's Statistics Passing: 19 of 36, 154 yards; 1 TD, 2 INTs Rushing: 7 carries, 17 yards. Season Statistics Passing: 256 of 389, 3,172 yards; 18 TDs, 11 INTs Rushing: 58 carries, 130 yards; 6 TDs

DREW BREES -- PURDUE

Brees Breaking it down: Enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving dinner, and has plenty to be thankful for this senior season. The Rose Bowl ... Big Ten records ... Seat in Downtown Athletic Club ... NFL first-round draft pick ... you get the idea. Saturday's Performance: Did not play. Season Statistics Passing: 286 of 473, 3,393 yards; 24 TDs, 12 INTs Rushing: 85 carries, 534 yards; 4 TDs

LADAINIAN TOMLINSON -- TCU

Tomlinson Breaking it down: The Horned Frogs scored 62 points, but LT only reached the end zone once. Still, he won his second straight NCAA rushing title with the fourth-best total in NCAA history. His 5,263 career yards rank sixth all-time. He's the eighth player to reach 2,000 in a season, and he joined former Texas star Ricky Williams as the only members of the 2,000-5,000 Club. Don't forget to catch his act one last time in Mobile, Ala. Saturday's Performance: Beat SMU, 62-7 Rushing: 26 carries, 174 yards; 1 TDs Season Statistics Rushing: 369 carries, 2,158 yards; 22 TDs

SANTANA MOSS -- MIAMI

Moss Breaking it down: Final tally: 1,512 all-purpose yards and 11 TDs for the No. 2, or so, ranked team in the country. Not bad, but not good enough. Sort of like the Hurricanes' season. Saturday's Performance: Beat Boston College, 52-6 Receiving: 5 catches, 64 yards; 2 TDs Rushing: 1 carry, 54 yards; 0 TDs Punt Returns: 4 for 121 yards; 1 TDs. Season Statistics Receiving: 45 catches, 748 yards; 5 TDs Rushing: 6 carries, 198 yards; 2 TDs Punt Returns: 36 for 566 yards; 4 TDs

DAMIEN ANDERSON -- NORTHWESTERN

Anderson Breaking it down: Will be the best running back in the Alamo Bowl, but could have been the best running back in any bowl -- except in maybe that one in Mobile, Ala. Saturday's Performance: Did not play. Season Statistics Rushing: 254 carries, 1,914 yards; 22 TDs
