We'll be tracking the top six players on our weekly Heisman Poll each Saturday. Here is how those six players performed on Saturday. The ESPN.com Heisman Poll is voted on by Lee Corso, Todd Christensen, Bill Curry, Rod Gilmore, Mike Gottfried, Kirk Herbstreit, Mel Kiper, Jr., John Mackovic and Gene Wojciechowski.

CHRIS WEINKE -- FLORIDA STATE

Weinke Breaking it down: Weinke is the favorite, but this will be a very close vote. Too bad they can't wait until after Florida State and Oklahoma meet Jan. 3 in the Orange Bowl to decide. Saturday's Performance: Did not play. Season Statistics Passing: 266 of 431, 4,167 yards; 33 TDs, 11 INTs

JOSH HEUPEL -- OKLAHOMA

Heupel Breaking it down: And now we wait for the results. Heupel did all he could, throwing for a pair of touchdowns, running for a third and leading the Sooners to an undefeated season and a spot in the Orange Bowl against Weinke's Seminoles. Now it's up to the voters to decide if that was enough. Saturday's Performance: Beat No. 7 Kansas State, 27-24 Saturday's Statistics Passing: 24 of 44, 220 yards; 2 TDs, 3 INTs Rushing: 11 carries, 9 yards, 1 TD. Season Statistics Passing: 280 of 433, 3,392 yards; 20 TDs, 14 INTs Rushing: 69 carries, 139 yards; 7 TDs

DREW BREES -- PURDUE

Brees Breaking it down: Brees had a banner season and guided the Boilermakers to the Rose Bowl, which is an accomplishment in itself. He was the leader of the Big Ten champs and had a banner season. A nice Rose Bowl performance will cap a great career. Saturday's Performance: Did not play. Season Statistics Passing: 286 of 473, 3,393 yards; 24 TDs, 12 INTs Rushing: 85 carries, 534 yards; 4 TDs

LADAINIAN TOMLINSON -- TCU

Tomlinson Breaking it down: LT for Heisman never really got off the ground, but it was a great year for Tomlinson. He won his second straight NCAA rushing title with the fourth-best total in NCAA history. His 5,263 career yards rank sixth all-time. He's the eighth player to reach 2,000 in a season, and he joined former Texas star Ricky Williams as the only members of the 2,000-5,000 Club. Saturday's Performance: Did not play Season Statistics Rushing: 369 carries, 2,158 yards; 22 TDs

SANTANA MOSS -- MIAMI

Moss Breaking it down: Too bad for Miami and Moss the Sooners won in the Big 12 title game, now the Canes are shut out of the national title game in the Orange Bowl. Not to worry, they still have a shot at sharing the title with a likely game in the Sugar Bowl against Florida. Saturday's Performance: Did not play Season Statistics Receiving: 45 catches, 748 yards; 5 TDs Rushing: 6 carries, 198 yards; 2 TDs Punt Returns: 36 for 566 yards; 4 TDs

DAMIEN ANDERSON -- NORTHWESTERN

Anderson Breaking it down: Anderson was one of the best backs in the country and will lead the Wildcats in the Alamo Bowl against, in all likelihood, Nebraska. Saturday's Performance: Did not play. Season Statistics Rushing: 254 carries, 1,914 yards; 22 TDs
