Georgia Lady Bulldogs
Road to the Final Four.............................................................................................
Overview Kelly Miller's jumper with less than a second to play won the SEC tournament title, capping off perhaps the toughest four-day tournament in college basketball. Miller is Georgia's third all-time leading scorer and her efforts this season won her SEC Player of the Year honors. However, it's a testament to Georgia's balance that Kelly isn't even the team's leading scorer -- twin sister Coco paces the team with a 15.9 scoring average to Kelly's 15.8 average (Coco has 494 points over 31 games; Kelly has scored 489). Deanna "Tweety" Nolan is an exceptional athlete on the wing. Down low, Georgia boasts the tough tandem of shot blocker Tawana McDonald and the SEC Rookie of the Year, Christi Thomas. If opponents can't slow them down, foes will get run over.Player to WatchFreshman Christi Thomas, a 6-foot-5 center, leads Georgia with a 51.6 field-goal percentage. She also ranks second on the team in rebounds (6.4) and third in scoring (12.1 ppg). Roster NO.
