Brylin to have surgery Saturday

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – New Jersey Devils left wing Sergei Brylin will have orthoscopic surgery on his right knee Saturday.

Brylin was injured Thursday night against Buffalo when he made contact with Sabres goalie Dominik Hasek.

Devils spokesman Mike Levine said it's too early to determine how long Brylin will be sidelined.

Brylin has career highs of 18 goals and 23 assists in 58 games this season.
