| | Dear Diary,
This week's schedule has been very different from the one I had been keeping before Nationals. It's kind of laid back.
Every morning, I have breakfast and watch TV as soon as I wake up. Then, at 9 a.m., I go outside and work out for an hour on the hurdle, weights and bike. An hour later I leave the house with my dad to go skating for one to two hours. For most of the sessions we end up doing jumps and some spins, which is mostly because I don't have new programs to do right now.

Straight from the rink, I go to my tutor every day (except Wednesdays and Sundays) to help me catch up with my home-schooling work. I get home around 7-7:30 p.m. I study for awhile, if I need to that day, or just watch TV. By 9 o'clock I'm in bed!
Some days I have more time on my hands than others. I guess the highlight of last week was on Saturday. My cousin Annette got to spend the night at my house. We had a lot of fun that day, since we usually don't spend a lot of time together. Instead of skating, we decided to go to the mall, where we spent about half the day.
My parents went to see my older brother play hockey. He plays defense for Lebanon Valley College. The team has been playing really well this season. They'll get to go to the playoffs in Boston this year. Anyway, they won their game that day. That evening, our whole family, including my aunts and uncles, met at my uncle's office to go to a friend's wedding reception.
Recently, skating has been really hard because of the new skates I purchased. They hurt my feet because the skates are a layer thicker than what I usually get. That's because my skates break down so fast. I was beginning to think they were a bad idea since my feet get sore during and after skating, but my parents keep telling me it's going to take time so I'm going to take time off at Fairfax Ice Arena.
I'm also going to visit my old coach, Debbie Parchar, who moved to Georgia a year ago. I am planning to get my new programs from her, and also train with her for awhile. It is really exciting that I get to see her now.
Till next time,
Bye
