| Associated Press COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Barbara Fusar-Poli and Maurizio Margaglio of Italy won the ice dancing competition at Skate America 2000 Saturday night, costumed as angels and skating to the soundtrack from "Romeo and Juliet." Margarita Drobiazko and Povilas Vanagas of Lithuania were second and Shae-Lynn Bourne and Victor Kraatz of Canada were third. Margaglio said portraying angels helped him and Fusar-Poli add feeling to their performance. "If you think too much about technical things, you are like no face (no emotion). You have to think about something else," he said. | ALSO SEE Eldredge bruised after fall in practice session AUDIO/VIDEO ![]() Barbara Fusar-Poli and Maurizio Margaglio perform a rotational lift.avi: 1238 k RealVideo: 56.6 | ISDN | T1 Fusar-Poli and Margaglio's impact on figure skating in Italy.RealVideo: 28.8 ![]() Barbara Fusar-Poli and Maurizio Margaglio talk about successfully defending their Skate America title.wav: 292 k RealAudio: 14.4 | 28.8 | 56.6 | |||||
