HOBART, Australia -- Slovakia's Martina Sucha won her first
WTA Tour title Saturday, beating Spain's Anabel Medina Garrigues
7-6 (7), 6-1 in the Tasmanian International.
Sucha led 3-0 in the second set when Medina Garrigues called for
treatment for a lower back strain. Clearly bothered by the injury,
she offered only token opposition the rest of the match.
