Cracked the Top 20 for the first time at the end of the season at No. 18.
Upset No. 15th-seeded Chanda Rubin in the fourth round of the Australian Open to reach her first Grand Slam quarterfinal. Following the tournament, her ranking climbed to a career-high No. 31.
Won singles titles at Hobart and Surabaya.
Was just one of seven players to win multiple singles titles on the Tour.
