2000 Players Choice Man of the Year

Rank the players

As part of this year's Major League Baseball Players Association Players Choice Awards, ESPN.com users have the chance to help narrow down the field for the 2000 Players Choice Man of the Year. In addition to the Man of the Year, Players Choice Awards also honor each league's outstanding rookie, outstanding pitcher, outstanding player and comeback player, as well as an overall player of the year.

Listed below are the nominees from each Major League Baseball team. Please read the contributions from each player and then rank them in the order you feel is most deserving of this award. When voting concludes Sept. 13, the top six nominees will make the final ballot for the MLBPA players to vote on to determine the winner.

The 2000 Players Choice Awards will be broadcast live on ESPN from the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas on Friday, Nov. 3, between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET. Tune in to find out if your No. 1 player is the same as the players' choice.

To rank your players, drag and drop the player tiles within the Java applet to the right. (You can also move a player by clicking its tile, then pressing the Up and Down buttons.) Press the Submit button when you're finished.
