EPISODE 2 – Summary |
The Team Contact scraped and battled to get itself
back in the game, closing the gap on the Team
Cobi. After it looked like the Cobi was going to run away with the
game, jumping out to a 2-0 lead by the end of Episode #1, Team
Contact came back with a vengeance, completing two tasks of its
own.
After getting off to a slow start in Episode #2 when its plans for
playing in a prison hoops game (Task #28) in Elmira, NY, fell
apart, Team Contact quickly rebounded to knock off Task # 1,
convincing Elmira College to let them wash the Elmira Screaming
Eagle mascot.
Team Contact then got itself a ride to Marleton, NJ, to the house of
Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Barry Gardner, a personal friend
of Team Contact member Aubrey. Barry then put them in touch with
Eagles backup quarterback A.J. Feeley, and Team Contact was
able to complete Task # 11 (catch a 35-yard pass from an NFL
QB), its second completed task of the episode.
During the show, Team Contact made progress on a 3rd task
when they
convinced the New Jersey Nets' Richard Jefferson to
meet them at Continental Airlines Arena to play them in a
game of H-O-R-S-E (Task # 23). RJ is scheduled to meet them at
the arena,
but we'll have to tune in next week to see if the game of H-O-R-S-E
really
happens.
While Team Contact grabbed the headlines from Episode #2 and
closed Team Cobi's lead in tasks completed, Team Cobi wasn't
completely silent. After dealing their way to Washington, D.C., they
convinced the Georgetown athletic department to let them wash
the Hoya
mascot (Task #1). But as this week's episode ended, they were
running two
hours late for their meeting at the Georgetown campus.
Team Cobi - 2, Team Contact - 2.
