EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- Bret Anderson scored an 89-yard kickoff single in the first half of overtime and Jimmy "The Jet" Cunningham added a 65-yard punt return for a touchdown as the British Columbia Lions posted a 21-13 victory over the Edmonton Eskimos on Sunday. Sean Fleming's 31-yard field goal -- his second of the game -- gave Edmonton a 13-3 lead just under three minutes into the fourth quarter. But B.C. rallied as Damon Allen connected on a 71-yard touchdown pass to Rod Harris at the 4:33 mark and Lui Passaglia kicked a 32-yard field goal a little more than seven minutes later to tie the game at 13-13. Passaglia gave the Lions a 3-0 lead 9:17 into the game with a 25-yard field goal. Edmonton's Troy Mills scampered 2 yards into the end zone in the second quarter and Fleming booted a 43-yard field goal for the only scoring in the third period as the Eskimos opened a 10-3 lead. Allen completed 11 of 24 passes for 195 yards and Robert Drummond rushed 20 times for 134 yards for B.C. (11-4), which already clinched a playoff berth and leads the West Division by two points over Calgary. Dan Crowley was 20-for-42 for 194 yards and Troy Mills rushed for 127 yards for the Eskimos (5-10), who assured themselves of a losing season.
