REGINA, Saskatchewan (Ticker) -- Kelvin Anderson caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Dave Dickenson with 80 seconds left as the Calgary Stampeders remained one game out of first place in the West Division with a 34-31 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Sunday. Anderson's catch completed a nine-play 65-yard drive in which Calgary (10-5) blew a seven-point lead, but rallied for the win. The Stampeders trail British Columbia for first place in the West. Dickenson finished with 281 yards, passing on 23 of 36 attempts with two touchdowns. Allen Pitts, who caught a scoring pass in the second quarter, led Calgary with six catches for 64 yards. Saskatchewan (3-12) gained a 28-27 lead with 8:23 left in the game when quarterback Reggie Slack scored on a 1-yard run. Paul McCallum booted a 28-yard field goal three minutes later for a four-point lead. Slack completed 24 of 36 passes for 325 yards with one touchdown as the Roughriders trail the Edmonton Eskimos by two games with three remaining for the final playoff spot in the West. Reggie Jones led Saskatchewan with seven catches for 118 yards. The Roughriders had a 20-7 lead when the Stampeders rallied for
20 straight points, capped when Anderson scored his second
rushing touchdown on a 2-yard run late in the third quarter.
