Tony's question of the day

Tony Kornheiser brings his vast sports knowledge, opinions and humor to ESPN Radio. Kornheiser is a top Washington Post journalist and a well known sports radio personality. Tony is also a contributor to ESPN TV's The Sports Reporters.

The Tony Kornheiser Show airs Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM - 4:00 p.m. ET.

Kornheiser joined ESPN Radio in November, 1997 as a host of the Tony Kornheiser Show (January 5, 1998 debut). Previously, his show aired on WTEM-AM in Washington, D.C., since 1992.

Kornheiser is also a columnist for the Washington Post, where he has been since 1979. He has been a sports columnist there since 1984, and in 1990, he began writing a regular column in the Washington Post's Sunday Style section. In addition to his Post duties, Kornheiser is also a regular contributor on ESPN's Sports Reporters show.

Kornheiser has authored two books, Pumping Irony and his current Bald as I Wanna Be. He has also written for New York Newsday, the New York Post, and the New York Times.

Kornheiser graduated from Harpur College in upstate New York ( now SUNY-Binghamton) in 1970.
