WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (Ticker) -- Rick Tabaracci made 27 saves and the Utah Grizzlies ended their six-game winless skid with a 2-0 victory over the Manitoba Moose. Tabaracci stopped 13 shots in the first period and recorded his second shutout of the season. Ted Crowley opened the scoring midway through the first period and John Purves notched his team-leading 32nd goal with 7:11 left in the second for Utah, which had lost in a shootout in each of its previous four games. Manny Legace stopped 27 shots for Manitoba, which lost its fourth in a row.
