CINCINNATI (Ticker) -- Pat Macleod scored the decisive goal in the shootout as the Cincinnati Cyclones defeated the Chicago Wolves, 6-5. With the tiebreaker deadlocked at 2-2, Macleod scored for the fifth time in eight shootout attempts. Byron Ritchie, who also had two assists, tied it at 5-5 with 53 seconds remaining for the Cyclones. Shane Willis scored twice and added an assist for Cincinnati, which bounced back from Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss at Grand Rapids. Randy Petruk stopped 23 shots in regulation and three shootout attempts to record his 12th win. Steve Maltais scored his second goal of the game with 5:21 left to give Chicago a 5-4 lead. Derek Wilkerson turned away 38 shots in regulation for the Wolves, who lost for only the eighth time in 25 shootouts (17-8).
