CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- Marc Lamothe stopped 25 shots and came within 5:49 of a shutout as the Cleveland Lumberjacks topped the Michigan K-Wings, 3-1. Chris Longo opened the scoring 2:28 into the second period and assisted on Kyle Calder's tally with 80 seconds left in the third. Sean Berens had the other goal for the Lumberjacks, who improved to 6-2-2 against Michigan this season. Marty Turco surrendered all three goals for the K-Wings, who dropped to 4-31-4 when trailing after two periods.
