News and notes: The Trojans, who are riding a 15-game win streak (longest since 1988), have given up 34 earned runs in last 17 games. Sophomore RHP Mark Prior pitched eight shutout innings against Georgia Tech in game two. Georgia Tech was ranked No. 1 in two out of three polls; 5-1 all-time against Texas (3-0 in CWS).
