They work hard every day to make sure that our basketball team is taken care of and that we are successful on and off the basketball court. As a whole, their main objective isn't to just recruit outstanding and talented basketball players, but also to bring great young women to the program. I remember on my home visit, Coach Curry and Kerry came into my home with a confidence about themselves. They weren't just telling me things that I wanted to hear about a program; instead, I believed and felt reassured about my decision. The coaching staff told my family and me why they were recruiting me and what their goals were to help me become a better player and to receive a degree from Purdue. That right there sealed my decision. They were just straightforward and honest with me, and that's all I wanted in the whole process. That's also the type of coaches I wanted to play for. So, to the coaching staff, even though some days you might be upset at us or vice versa (because I know we have those days), I want you to know that you are greatly appreciated! You give all that you have to this program, and you are well-deserving of our thanks! For more on Wright and Purdue, visit the Boilermakers' official athletic site. |
