HONOLULU -- Each day this week, we'll ask players for their thoughts on a certain topic.
What do you think of the coaching change your team made in the offseason?
LaVar Arrington
"I think that having an offensive-oriented coach can only help a team that's been so dominant on the defensive side of the ball. I think that if he can bring the kind of offensive productivity that he had at Florida it would be a great thing for not only our team, but it would be a great thing for our city. There are a lot of hopes and dreams riding with Steve Spurrier."
Byron Chamberlain
"It's sad seeing Denny leave, because he's a well-respected guy in our locker room and throughout the league and he's one of the major reasons why I left Denver to come to Minnesota. But I think Mike Tice will do a good job stepping in. One thing that he brings to the team is continuity -- there's not too much change. Everybody is comfortable with him and he's comfortable with the system that was there. I think everybody has confidence in him and the system. I think the other that he'll bring is more discipline to our team. He's a more-disciplined type of guy and I think that's something that our team needs."
Ken Dilger
"It was interesting, everybody thought there was going to be a change made and there was. But it looks like we got the best coach out there. I think he'll help shore up the defense. That's the one thing we've lacked the last couple of years. The offense was there, but the defense needed to be upgraded a little bit and I think he'll do that."
Marvin Harrison
"I don't really know much about Tony Dungy. I haven't met him. But from what I hear, he's a great guy who's going to get the team headed in the right direction and get the things done that we need to win the Super Bowl."
Chris Samuels
"I really don't what to expect at this point. But (Steve) Spurrier, I do know that he's a good coach, a great offensive-minded guy. As far as I know I think he'll come in and do a good job."
