What has to happen in offseason?

ESPN.com

HONOLULU -- Each day this week, we'll ask players for their thoughts on a certain topic.

What does your team need to do to get ready for next season?

Tom Brady
"You just try to get mentally and physically prepared for next year. If you get complacent, there are too many other great teams that are just waiting to bury you. You realize now that your defending Super Bowl champs and that you're a marked team ad that you get everyone's best shot."
Keith Brooking
"I think with a guy like Michael Vick, he's pretty much the man now. He's taken over the helm. I really believe that he's a guy who can do a lot of things on his own. I think just having him take over is going to be a great addition to our team. But defensively, we just gave up a lot of big plays this year and our two-minute defense was horrible. I think finishing games is the biggest thing we need to work one."
Hugh Douglas
"I think the main thing we need to in the offseason is reflect on the things we didn't do this season and correct them and hit next season like a tornado. Even though we have a pretty good team, we have to build our resolve and really get after it."
Sammy Knight
"I think offensively we have to not commit turnovers and defensively we need to stop the run better than we did this year."
Ty Law
"We need to work on all phases of the game. We're the world champions, but we're going to get everyone's best shot the next time that we play. We're looking to repeat. We got a taste of it and we see how good it feels and we want to do it again."
John Lynch
"I think we just have to realize that we are an excellent football team that's real close to taking that next step and we have to find a way to get it done. This league is about winning a championship and we've got what it takes to do that. I'm looking forward to the opportunity, we're facing some adversity now, two years going out in the first round and I'm looking forward to seeing how we're going to respond as a team."
Donovan McNabb
"We have to score more points than we did last year. It's just a process in which you want to continue to move forward. You want to improve. I think as offensive players, as well as defensive players, you never want to maintain. You want to get better. We have a great group of young guys that are sort of our nucleus and the leaders of our team. Now it's just about getting some young guys in that can help us out."
