Conference finals flashbacks
Gretzky holds the playoff career record for goals (122), assists (260) and points (382).
Wayne Gretzky still calls it the best game of his career. Responding to the critics and to the pressure of a Game 7 in the playoffs, the Great One scored a hat trick and added an assist to give the Los Angeles Kings to a series victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Someone wrote Gretzky was skating as if he had a piano on his back. All No. 99 carried was his franchise to its first appearance in the Stanley Cup finals.
