| Ron Weasley |
We're putting together a special version of Page 2's Casting Call -- although we're reversing our usual Casting Call procedure. In other words, we'll show you the actor from the "Harry Potter" movie and describe his or her personality, and then we'll ask you to match that character with an appropriate figure from the sports world.
Below is our choice and the best nominations sent in by readers. Continue choosing the cast by voing for the best candidate to portray Ron Weasley. Voting at left will take you to the next page of nominees.
Weasley comes from a huge family of poor wizards and witches -- most of whom have gone to Hogwarts. He's the youngest of many brothers (there's a sister who is younger than he is), some of whom are constantly getting into trouble for pulling wild pranks at Hogwarts and outside school, and one of whom is the most corporate little do-right in the book. Ron, who is Harry's best pal, is constantly being picked on by Draco Malfoy and his pals.
Who should play Ron Weasley?

Boris Becker
Page 2's pick.

Brent Barry
Just seems perfect. The family thing and a good "best friend to the hero" role player.
-- George, Queens, N.Y.

 |
Pavel Bure
He's from a big hockey line and talk about getting picked on, the little guy has no protection in Florida.
-- Emily Lukas, Toronto

Craig Counsell
I would choose Craig Counsell. He is the small underdog type of guy you would see in movies who got picked on. But later in the movie he would get even with some smart trick. I think Counsell would be great for the role.
-- Patrick Schwartz, Virginia Beach, Va.

Allen Iverson
Hmmm, hard childhood, good skills, occasionally gets in trouble ... how 'bout Allen Iverson?
-- Mike Kaltman, Morrisville, Pa.
