FOXBORO, Mass. (AP) -- Taylor Twellman scored his seventh goal in his last six games to lead the New England Revolution to a 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday night.

Twellman became the sixth forward in MLS history to score in six straight games. New England's Wolde Harris holds the record of seven straight games with a goal.

The Revolution (3-4-1) won in their first game under interim coach Steve Nicol, who took over the team Thursday when Fernando Clavijo was fired.

It also was the first game in a New England uniform for midfielder Daniel Hernandez, defender Brian Kamler and forward Diego Serna. They were acquired Friday in a six-player trade with the New York-New Jersey MetroStars.

Serna had a goal, and Hernandez was credited with an assist. Steve Ralston also scored for the Revolution.

Winston Griffiths and Carlos Ruiz scored for the Galaxy (4-3-2).
