NEW BRITAIN, Connecticut (Ticker) -- Juan Thomas knocked in four runs and Jermaine Clark went 4-for-4 as the New Haven Ravens defeated the New Britain Rock Cats, 7-3. Thomas hit a three-run homer in the eight inning to supply New Haven with a 4-3 lead and singled home a run in the ninth. Clark ripped an RBI double in the opening frame and finished with a pair of runs for New Haven. Dwight Maness added a two-run double for the Ravens, who have won four straight. Dennis Stark (4-2) allowed three runs -- two earned -- and two hits, striking out four, in seven innings for the win. Rafael Alvarez and Luis Rivas both hit into an RBI groundout for New Britain, which dropped four of its last five games. Brent Stentz (1-2) surrendered a run, a hit and a walk in 2/3 of an inning for the loss.
