TRENTON, New Jersey (Ticker) -- Scott Seabol went 2-for-4 with
three RBI as the Norwich Navigators downed the Trenton Thunder,
7-2. Seabol lifted a sacrifice fly in a three-run first inning,
smacked an RBI double in the third and blasted a leadoff homer
in the sixth for Norwich, which snapped its three-game losing
streak. Randy Flores (2-3) allowed eight hits and two runs over
7 1/3 innings to post the win. Jackson Melian belted an RBI
triple and Drew Henson, who was just called up from Tampa of the
Florida State League, singled in a run for the Navigators. Shea
Hillenbrand went 3-for-4 with an RBI base hit and Damian Sapp
had a run-scoring double for Trenton, which has dropped nine of
its last 10 home games. Marty McLeary (1-4) was tagged for five
hits and five runs -- four earned -- in only four innings to
take the loss.
