HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania (Ticker) -- Carlos Casimiro and Rick
Short each collected three hits and three RBI to lead the Bowie
BaySox to an 8-5 victory over the Harrisburg Senators. Casimiro
led off the fifth inning with a homer and added a two-run single
in the eighth inning to give Bowie a 6-5 lead. Short hit an RBI
single in the seventh inning and capped the five-run eighth with
a two-run double. Scott Eibey (3-1) allowed a run and one hit
over an inning's work and was credited with the win. Juan
Aracena pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings to notch his sixth save
for the BaySox, who evened their record against Harrisburg at
3-3. Dan McKinley hit a two-run single in the first inning for
the Senators, who lost for just the fifth time in their last 15
games. Jim Serrano (1-2) surrendered four runs -- two earned --
while retiring just two batters to take the loss.
