What was Daniel Snyder thinking when he considered firing Marty Schottenheimer as head coach, despite the fact the 'Skins ended the season by winning eight of 11 ... with Tony Banks at quarterback?

Daniel Snyder
"If it's January, it must be time to change coaches again."
A. He had become fixated on how big a man Schottenheimer is, and he always has hated men bigger than himself, which pretty much covers the whole world, except for Mini-Me and a jockey or two.

B. When he hired Schottenheimer, he didn't realize he was hiring his entire extended family, too.

C. The Sept. 11 attacks made him realize that life is too short to put up with a coach who favors the Neanderthal Offense over the West Coast Offense.

D. He's always had a thing for Steve Spurrier.

E. He realized he was falling behind in his race with Peter Angelos for the coveted Most Annoying Owner of a Pro Sports Franchise, Mid-Atlantic Region award.

F. He wanted Schottenheimer to set a record for highest-paid head coach ever, one year.
